Benefits and Care of VASER LIPO
VASER Lipo® is an ultrasound based technology that is revolutionizing the concept of liposculpture, taking it to a much higher level. Compared to traditional liposuction or laser lipolysis, this technique offers more precise and satisfying results for patients, while causing less tissue trauma and enabling faster recovery.
Using this technology, we emulsify fat cells through ultrasound waves, preserving surrounding structures (blood vessels, nerves, collagen fibers). This is in contrast to traditional liposuction or laser lipolysis, which tend to aggressively damage and traumatize adjacent tissues. Additionally, the ultrasound promotes collagen and elastin production, aiding skin tightening and adaptation.
ADVANTAGES OF THE VASER LIPO® SYSTEM
- Allows outpatient procedures with quicker recovery.
- Enables removal of small amounts of fat for body contouring or large volume liposuctions with greater safety and superior results compared to other methods.
- Provides superior “High Definition” results and abdominal etching compared to any other liposuction technique.
- Allows fat transfer (lipotransfer) for enhanced body contour definition.
- Effective for postpartum body recovery treatments.
- Facilitates sculpting of delicate, fibrous, or lax areas.
- Suitable for secondary liposuction or after treatments causing fibrosis (e.g., mesotherapy).
- Can be used to treat gynecomastia without scars.
This procedure removes fat through minimal incisions. While sculpting the body contour and defining the silhouette, it achieves significant skin retraction while respecting tissues, resulting in less trauma and faster recovery.
IDEAL CANDIDATES
VASER Lipo® is suitable for both men and women who are ideally at a healthy weight and want to change the shape and volume of localized fat deposits that are difficult to eliminate through diet or exercise. LIPOVASER® allows for true abdominal definition and etching in both men and women.
This technique is permanent, if you gain weight later, fat will be distributed more evenly rather than accumulating in treated areas.
SURGEON’S EXPERTISE
Although VASER LIPO® may seem like a simple surgery, it is highly technique dependent and requires a skilled surgeon. Dr. Pablo Solis uses the most advanced, evolved, and safest techniques. It is essential for patients to communicate their expectations honestly so that natural and safe results can be achieved in contouring.
PROCEDURE DURATION
120 minutes.
ANESTHESIA

RESULTS
Results from LIPOVASER® liposuction are not immediately visible. Swelling and bruising typically persist for the first three weeks. Discomfort is usually well managed with prescribed medication.
VASER ultrasonic liposuction is a highly effective surgical technique for achieving a new body contour with minimal scarring. Results are permanent but take at least six months to fully stabilize as tissues heal. Weight gain after the procedure tends to be more evenly distributed, not focused on previously treated fat deposits.
It is important to note that liposuction techniques are for body shaping and fat reduction in localized areas; they are not weight loss treatments or solutions for obesity.
PREOPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS
A preoperative evaluation and study are essential before any aesthetic surgery. Please schedule a consultation with our expert beforehand.
POSTOPERATIVE CARE
After surgery, a special compression garment or stockings will be placed on the treated areas to control swelling and help the skin adapt to its new contour. This should be worn for at least 4 to 6 weeks.
Scars are minimal and strategically placed to remain hidden.
Postsurgical massages are crucial for optimal results, helping control swelling, fluid retention, and any fibrosis (internal scarring). These massages should be performed by qualified personnel.
Following the surgeon’s and medical team’s guidelines is essential for proper recovery and results. Attending all postoperative checkups is mandatory.
The first 48 hours tend to be the most uncomfortable, with possible pain and burning sensations that can be managed with medication and relative rest.
During the first 3 weeks, a “rebound effect” from fluid retention occurs, so lymphatic drainage therapy is recommended starting 4 to 5 days after surgery.
Return to work is possible within a few days, depending on the type of activity. Treated areas will remain more sensitive than usual for 3 to 4 weeks.
